Chapter 3
The Pool
Step in with a crowd. Step out as no one. Deposit a fixed amount, keep a secret note, and later withdraw to a brand-new address with a zero-knowledge proof that you're one of the crowd, without saying which one.

How it works
Three panels, one secret
1. Deposit
Your browser makes a secret note and sends only its fingerprint (a Poseidon hash) with a fixed deposit. The note never leaves your device.
2. Wait
Other people deposit the same amount. Every deposit joins the same Merkle tree. The bigger the crowd, the harder you are to pick out.
3. Withdraw
From a fresh wallet, your browser proves 'I own one of these deposits' with a zero-knowledge proof. The pool pays out and marks the note spent.

Lose the note, lose the deposit
Nobody, including Nami, can recover a lost note. You'll be asked to save it before any deposit goes through.
Use it lawfully
Privacy is a right, not a hiding place. Privacy tools are regulated differently in different countries. Check the rules where you live before using one.
